Default Nec/Mes Mele build

First let me start off by saying I haven't played this game even one time so this is all pure speculation on my part (this could be the worst build ever!).

I dont know anything about runes or equipment so I just Allocated the
Atributes point like so. (total points spent 198). I'm sure the blood magic can be brought up with some rune or something but this is pretty much a naked lvl 20

Soul Reaping 5
Blood magic 10
Illusion Magic 10
Inspiration Magic 10

Blood Magic
Vampiric Touch
Life Siphon

Illusion Magic
Illusionary weaponry(elite)
Illusion of weakness

Inspiration Magic
Channeling
Leech Signet
Ether Feast
Drain enchantment

I wanted to make a mele necro build but didn't like the warrior profession as a secondary class, also I just like the idea of the Illusionary Weaponry that ignores armor.So I picked mesmer as the seconday class.

Before getting anywhere near a battle I would cast illusion of weakness and let myselfe regen back to full health so if i do get down to 25% health I would get a nice instant boost of health that I dont have to bother with (I assume this has no time limit in which it expires, correct me if I'm wrong).And if someone tried to remove enchantment on me I assume it would go for the oldest one first and they would inadverntly heal me.

Right before running into the fray cast Channeling, then Illusionary Weaponry.

I wanted to be able to Have a little something for both the casters and the Warrior types so I brought along Leech Signet for when beeting down the casters because A.it cost zero energy B.if timed right it would help with energy management and C. the interrupt would be nice to have as well. Ether Feast for the warriors who I assume won't be using as much energy because A. its ceap to cast and B. it heals me C. It's great for casters too! The vampire touch and life siphon should also help with keeping me alive while continously damaging the enemy between the time I need to recast Channeling and IW.

SoulReap + Channeling + Drain enchantment + Natrual regen would hopefully keep my energy up to sufficent levles.

Vampire Touch + Life siphon +Ether Feast + Natrual regen would hopefull keep me alive.

Illusionary weaponry + Vampire touch + Life siphon would hopefull deal some damage.

Is this a viable build ?
Am I toatly wrong about this ?
It would be great if you guys could tell me, you seem to be so good at tearing down and analyzing builds at this site.

Well honestly I am no expert on this.....but I have a Necromesmer myself and I can say with a fair amount of certainty that you don't ever want to be THAT close to a warrior....for any length of time. Necromancers are not a strong melee class.....they may be better than say a monk or elementalist in so far as the armor level is a little higher, but that doesnt mean it is enough to stand toe-to-toe with a warrior. It's one thing to do it in PvE......quite another to do it in PvP. My necromesmer has even tanked on occasion in PvE....but she has reasonable armor and I do know what I am doing when I decide to get up close, and even then it's usually a close fight. Soul Feast works very well after those that cost me more than 50% life. Keep in mind that Soul Reaping only works when something or someone dies.....which sometimes isn't often enough to make a difference in your energy level. Considering you are only putting 5 points into it, it would be almost useless. You would gain only 5 energy for a death.
